COVID-19 or the Coronavirus covers headlines daily. We at HRHN want to make sure you and your family are protected and provided with the most accurate information possible.
In addition to the information below, our partners at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have set up a website with guidance and facts about COVID-19. You can access their website here. The Department of Health has also created a webpage to help answer FAQs and provide information. Their webpage can be accessed here. Our partners at Central Florida Health Care have also created a COVID-19 page dedicated to Testing Opportunities at their clinics or through their mobile units. This covers Highlands, Hardee, and Polk Counties. Their webpage can be accessed here. |

As part of our efforts to provide data on COVID-19 for Highlands, Hardee and DeSoto Counties, we created a graph that displays the number of COVID-19 positive cases, hospitalizations due to COVID-19 and deaths due to COVID-19 in each county, as reported on our Facebook Page from the data available from the Florida Department of Health.
Due to a change in reporting made by Governor DeSantis on Friday, 6/4, we will no longer be able to provide daily updates, as the Department of Health is only able to disseminate weekly information. We will look at this report and formulate our next steps. Thanks for trusting us as a data source!
